though as times change, we adapt just as quickly, i remember my first time on edonkey, connecting to servers to browse content
then torrents hit like a truck and everyone could seed/leech
magnet isnt a huge shift, and using legacy connections for basic encryption isnt a hard thing to do either
youre not gonna see the mpaa or xxa go after the individual seeders, theyll aim for the sites and companys that host the trackers, and since rss and magnet make everything a one link wonder, im sure eventually itll come down to mass lawsuits to people seeding content, but for the time being, we can expect site dumps and closes anyways
something always comes around, ive never seen the pirate community without a way to continue to pass data
its a chain of evolution, starting with the oldest p2p technology to whats going on now
i for one, think its a decent change
as for isps filtering bandwidth...theyve been doing it for years, and will find ways for years to come

Baltimore, MD | Man you just brought back some memories I have not thought of in awhile now. During the days of Kazaa, E Donkey 2000 & Overnet. Those where some good old days back then, One thing has not changed. Lime-wire, I use that for small files and use trackers for large.
They need to learn they will not win this battle, simply be competitive and offer good quality products. I can 100% say that online file sharing has not at all caused me to not to buy music, movies or games. in fact it has encouraged me to purchase media if anything. I can download it yea but nothings better then getting the quality item on quality media. Blank disc with music on them don't last long lol.
