As I said, I've never had that problem inless the old driver wasn't properly removed.

Then it's not an nVidia issue. Banding in LCD displays appears to be cross-card, affecting ATI as well as nVidia. Some suggest it is the monitor driver, others that is related to a specific monitor feature in Samsung called RTF. I've not seen any weirdness with nVidia drivers unless they are improperly removed.

it's a CRT TV and it does support 24bit (8bits per channel) 32 bit is just a alpha channel

other Inputs are fine

Any digging I've done shows it as not a nVidia driver issue. It happens on ATI cards, as well. It appears to be more predominant on LCD screens, but it does appear to occasionally happen on CRT's, though less so. Again, it's not a driver issue. No one seems to have pinned a cause, yet, although the monitor INF file is also blamed, as is Samsung's Magicolour program.

wish they would fix the 59hz issue though it does only seem to be a "display" issue the monitor is running at 60hz from the display info on the monitor it self but still meh
