I have had Charter in our area for several years. I got it when they signed the contract with the city and upgraded all the equipment in the town. (much needed). I am on the 20/2 package as the price was only $2 more than the 10/1). If they raise if any more I'll switch and drop my phone service all togther.
However, if they keep raising prices it will eventually be cheaper to contact an overseas provider and have them run a line for their high speeds.. which are faster.
