| Sounds like a parallel to what Verizon/AT&T are doing south of the border.
Also, Telus currently has the faster network, because most of their customers aren't on it. The network will be pretty much only for smartphones/iPhones/data cards, and is idtentical to Telus's regular footprint, so things are more straightforward than a half-overlaid 3G network. |

en102Canadian, eh? join:2001-01-26 Valencia, CA | Well, not quite, Telus/Bell HSPA+ network misses almost 2 complete provinces and northwestern Ontario for any coverage, and does not allow in country GSM roaming.
The MTS/Sasktel/Dryden Mobility/TBayTel/Northern Tel/ON Tel carriers didn't upgrade (yet), and since there's no roaming on Rogers, there's no coverage in those areas. |

4 edits | reply to Van Upon reflection, I do not wish to post. Take me back! With good research I have come to the conclusion Bell and Rogers are $85 with a 5GB cap. 5GB@21mbps =2045 seconds.
That means, if you could max out your line, you would hit your cap in just over 34 minutes! Additional data for bell $0.05/MB!!! Thats $50/GB! and $30/GB for rogers! No max overage fee. |

 | said by the cerberus:Yep, but, it doesnt matter who has the fastest. Neither one of them is offering us 21mbps devices, and none have been tested to their potential. Bell, Roger and Telus all offer 21mbps USB modems. The Bell and Telus modems will work at 21mbps HSPA+ in many many more places that the Rogers modem. |
