12V DC to USB car adapter

I'm looking on eBay for a 12VDC to USB adapter... Most of the adapters say USB 5V and a few say USB 6V... What's the proper voltage output for USB???... Does the 5V versus 6V USB output matter??

Standard USB output voltage is 5V +/-0.25V. Max current is 500mA.
