That NPR claim was severely weakened when the CIA released these startling photos tying the Ft.Hood Shooter with Islamist Movement

They photos confirm the suspicions that Maj. Nidal Hasan, the "Ft.Hood Shooter" has strong ties with Al Qaedia leader, Osama bin Laden and the Islamist wing of the Iranian government.

The details of Maj. Hasan's relationship with the head of Al Queda weren't immediately available. However this screen capture from an ILA (Iranian Leadership Authority) award ceremony broadcast gives the strongest support to the allegations that Ft.Hood Shooter was an active member of the Islamist movement.
