Quality AM2 compatible motherboards

Hi all,

looking for something that will work with it

thanks for any help!

Does it have to be an nforce sli board or just a board to run an am2 processor? Which specific processor are you using? Are you just wanting something inexpensive to get up and running or does cost not matter?

That same mobo started eating my ram recently. I replaced the entire system.

NewEgg has a lot of AM2\AM2+ boards - look at them and see about those that have high ratings - at least 80+% for the top 2 scores.

no it doesn't have to have SLI. I'm looking for something fairly inexpensive, as long as it has some quality built in. had too many Asus boards in the past 5 years die before their time

I like Gigabyte, but am willing to go just about any company, yes, even Asus.

thanks

Might have some other issues if you have so many boards dying.

could be....except the over 30 plus systems I've built with other motherboards have seen uninterrupted service... but yeah, might have other issues..... thank you for the extremely helpful addition to my topic

The recent 785g gigabyte ud3h ddr2 board is a reasonable price while being the latest chipset, integrated graphics. decent build quality, for $90.

If this is more than you wanted to spend there are other options, including an $80+free shipping us2h 785g board. You can go as low as $50 or so and get an old board and chipset. You will give up solid caps and so on.
