 | My next computer? My old computer is failing and so I am putting together a mobo and CPU combo intended to last for many years and yet allow me to reuse my existing IDE hard drive and DVD-RW. I will add a second hard drive and more memory in the future.
No hard-core gaming just SIMS 3 and Counter-Strike. My funds for the hardware at this time are limited to $500. Please let me know what you think. Thanks.

Thanks, I don't anticipate doing a crossfire setup. That feature just happened to be present in the graphics card that I selected as having best performance while being under $50 and including DVI, D-SUB and VIVO (I still have an assortment of ATI video converter cables) outputs. |
