One condition

As long as Comcast is forced to divest Hulu as a condition, I could care less what they do with the rest of NBCU.

But, it seems as though Comcast would rather their subscribers didn't watch classic TV shows and movies that aren't on any channel that they carry. They'd prefer that their customers spend more time watching cable, even if what they want to watch is on the internet.

So, if they gain control of NBC, they'll want to strip Hulu of all NBC/Universal content, hoping to make it far less of an online destination for fans of classic TV and newer shows they may have missed.

So, why isn't there a cable channel that has the all-time classic TV of Hulu? There once were such channels, but now most of those shows are online. Too bad. I'd rather not watch such shows on my small PC monitor when I could watch them on by big flat screen TV from the comfort of my living room.

So, if they are worried about online TV viewing, then, bring back classic TV to cable (and/or add Retro TV to their national lineup) and then they can forget about Hulu as a threat to their business.
