tired of att

long time att customer; when our contract ends, we're going to verizon. back when we did the 3g data thing on various att phones we NEVER got anything near the advertised speeds. typically it was far more like dial-up. tired of att's song & dance. counting days to contract termination. nice going guys.

You won't get close to those speeds with Verizon either.....

Around S. Central PA AT&T is the one to beat. Trust me, I have both....

Head north of Harrisburg, and your song will change. Trust me, Verizon has AT&T beat handily across most of the state. There is no 3G anywhere near me, and the EDGE speeds are HORRIBLE. I am lucky to have any data at all in the town I work, and pings are pushing 8 seconds or more at times. Their EDGE network is badly overloaded.

I was looking forward to Driod, but I don't think Android is quite there yet. Once I see a purtty droid device, I am ditching AT&T. I have never had such horrible phone service.

I'll be driving to Michigan (again) for work, and there is almost no 3G anywhere along the ride on I-80. They don't even have 3G in the area between Toledo and Detroit!

I'd really like to know when AT&T plans to fix these issues? Please tell me they have a plan?
