I found this, but I can't seem to dig anything up stating Verizon will deploy the update. It appears they've had the foundation in place (EVRC-B) for quite a while however.

AFAIK no US CDMA carrier is going to do it, it used to be call EV-DV (DV = Data Voice or something) but since VZW is skipping to LTE and Sprint is on WiMax, EVDV was supposed to be dead. unless its something else. (I use sprint myself and would love to be able to do data+voice at the same time) | |
