Sprint tells NAD to pound sand

Sprint Nextel, in its advertiser’s statement, said the company respectfully disagrees with NAD’s findings and “maintains that its dependability claim is fully substantiated based on the results of the connection success and session reliability tests, together with results of the signal strength tests.”

The company said it will appeal NAD’s decision to the National Advertising Review Board.
I think Sprint made a SMALL valid point. The results were based only on 1 test and the latest test. To halt an in-progress ad campaign based on only the last test is problematic.

This will end up like Microsoft vs. Netscape. By the time that it is done and through the court system/injunction filed, it will be too late, and VZW will have done its damage.

it won't see the court. NAD is nothing but the BBB. And the BBB doesn't have the power to do anything expect extort money from its "members" in return for great ratings.
