Franklin, TN | As long as some really, really, stupid law isn't passed that wipes out the independent ISP, then yes you have a long wait.
I'm expanding my wireless ISP into another state now, but unless you live in TN or KY it's probably going to be a long time before I'm anywhere in your part of the US. I've also been working with other independent wireless ISP to expand to other states. Really, right now; about the only thing that will jump-start wireless ISP is for people to band together, get the funds and research up, and do it yourself I'm afraid.
