That's what they do in other countries. They bury someone, then transfer the bones to a sarcophagus. Cuba does this because of the shortage of burial grounds. Israel did it back around the time of Christ. (Recent bone boxes discovered with inscriptions confirming Biblical accounts.).

I don't see them sealing the cave indefinitely. The family will want a proper burial. Cave enthusiasts will want the cave reopened (even if it's a generation from now).
