I can understand the frustration. All I can say is give it a bit more time. CenturyTel literally just took over Embarq only months ago, and currently the company is still in the middle of converting all of these states they acquired into our systems. Upgrades will come soon don't worry. The city you live in is certainly a high-stakes area no doubt.
