Run against hope and change? What the F is wrong with these people?

Neither Hope nor Change is a complete thought. They're not even complete sentences.

They're open-ended, fragments of ideas, that mean whatever people want them to mean. As used recently, Hope and Change are purposefully vague.

History is packed with episodes with charismatic leaders drawing along masses with overt promises of change. We've read about dozens of these characters, before we ever finish school.

Now, President O'Bama isn't an evil guy and this was never about Him. We've never even had an evil PotUS; only a fool believes otherwise. But one day, someone will run for president who truly is evil.

When HE wins, it's because HE promises hope and change to a disconnected people who feel complete because they are manipulated. HE wins the Presidency because a victimized class believed the energy of their own stampede gave them meaningful power - to be part of change.

It will be identical to this last election, just with More fervor - More energy - More idealism. It'll feel GREAT to submit and be a part of something powerful. HIS supporters will believe it was their own idea to put HIM atop their shoulders and carry HIM to power. They will weep with Joy for HIS victory.

A problem is that there will likely be no Outside Power to bomb us into submission. There will also be no 'United Nations (States)' to afterward offer us a helping hand back into Prosperity and Liberty.

We will likely own Change for a very long time.

On a lighter note there's lots of religious holidays a-comin'. We've an opportunity to tell our flavor of God, thanks for giving us life. If you don't do the God thing, you can always deliver that message to your Mom.

If your Mom's with God, then go visit a nursing home and be grateful around somebody else's Mom. You'd never believe how rewarding it is.
