There was no clarification from Woods about the accident account, either. Like where he was headed, what he was doing in a car at that hour on a holiday and how he managed not to miss a fire hydrant that had presumably been in the same spot the entire 10 years he has lived in that abode. It’s now been reported by Windermere police chief Daniel Saylor, that officers found Tiger laying in the street with his wife, Elin, hovering over him.
She told officers she was in the house when she heard the accident and “came out and broke the back window with a golf club.” Woods had lacerations to his upper and lower lips, and he had blood in his mouth, Saylor said.
You think she heard the accident and the first thing she does is grab a golf club before she came out? How about they had a knockdown drag out fight, he tries to leave in SUV, with Elin in pursuit and when he doesn’t stop, she start swinging golf club at back window and he crashes into fire hydrant? Just saying we’re probably never gonna know what really happened. --

But these additional details really change the story a bit.
I agree..... she brings a Golf club and smashes out the back window? Are you kidding me?
I can see him trying to get outta there in a hurry with her smashing a golf club on his SUV and plowing the fire hydrant and the tree.... makes way more sense.
And yeah, we'll probably never know unless it comes out in a bitter divorce case or something....

So it's basically a domestic situation. I'd be interested in knowing who called the cops. I'm wondering if nobody did, but ONSTAR did. That's the problem with Onstar. It confirms your guilt. 
Edit: It says the cops found him semi conscious and his face was lacerated. He claims she scratched him up. I'm wondering if he took a golf club to the face!
