Inhofe is a disgrace. He's always been a huge supporter of big oil and dismisses ALL environmental issues as "tree hugging crap."
My favorite thing he does *Unlike Coburn* is that he puts tons and tons of pork barrel and earmarks and special lobbyist rewards into large popular bills that have huge support--- and then he votes against the final bill, which of course PASSES, and all his earmarks and pork pass.... Then he gets back here to Oklahoma and campaigns on how he's conservative and for a balanced budget and against waste etc etc and he points to his record of "No" votes on these big bills and the Okie public suck it up and believe him about what a great cost cutter he is--- and vote from him again!
When called out on this behavior he claimed it was "standard practice" and "acceptable" because "everybody does it". No, they don't. Some vote for their beliefs and their pet projects. Inhofe votes to look good.
Oh well. He's basically got a seat for life thanks to our Voting bloc here. Acts like he fools everyone and the public is stupid. Well, he's wrong on part #1 but apparently has got it down on #2 it seems. It works for him.
