Look for enclosures that include a bracket to bring a SATA port to an external eSATA plug. Other cheaper ones will just have a SATA plug that you run a long cable through hole somewhere directly to a SATA port.
I'm running one of each and they both work fine, but obviously the bracket is much more convenient once installed. Also that enclosure has USB as well while the other one is just SATA. That might be fine if all you want is the equivalent of an extra internal HD, which is what I use them for. |
