i don't know, but it seems like the all actors are doing pretty damn well in their mansions if you ask me. so they get no sympathy from me when someone pirates a bit (or all for that matter) of their work.

Hollywood (and everybody involved, from the key grips to Aston Kucher) is doing just fine. If Hollywood (or whoever else) wants to argue that piracy is destroying all revenue, they need to come up with a better argument...

For every actor getting rich off a movie, there are 1000's of people who just make a living. And it is these who are hurt by movie thieves.

Who cares what you think? If they want to charge $1000 for a movie, let them. You don't have to buy it. As for Netflix... not sure who "they" is. They are doing fine. The have a simple business model in where they license mostly cheaper old back catalog titles. Some of the old movies are actually pretty good. Only cost a couple of bucks to watch.
