Many years ago, any business who would today use cellphones would get a Industrial/Business Radio license as easily as a vending machine. All those businesses still sit on their licenses, even though cellphones have obsoleted the Industrial/Business Radio purpose. If your not digital and you use the channel intermittently you need to loose your license. Same thing with radiolocation and the military. The military sits on a mount everest of spectrum, do they use it? who the hell knows. Its amazing the military doesn't still have a "Spark Gap" transmitter license. |
