NBC and their affiliates routinely raised rates for pay TV providers. I don't see much changing. |

Rockville, MD | This was happening long before Comcast stepped in. Comcast didn't invent media consolidation, and I don't think anyone is saying they did. Of course, it doesn't follow that 1) this merger isn't somewhat unprecedented or 2) it's no big deal and should be allowed, just like all the rest.
Decreased competition and increased media monopolization aren't good things for consumers. The line must be drawn somewhere. |
