Avast Antivirus Has Gone Mad → Avast / Malwarebytes

Installed Malwarebytes on a machine yesterday afternoon and got false positives on the exact same files as listed earlier in the thread. Malwarebytes had a fix update out within 30 minutes after I had the issue.

Is it possible this came from a shared piece of code or just a coincidence?
