If I want to break the law with it, then that is on me, not my network provider.
If you want to look at my packets, get a warrant.
Further, if I break the law with my internet connection, you have no right to boot me from your network. A judge might order me not to use the internet, but it sure isn't my ISPS job to make that decision.
My money pays for the network, and paid to buy all that equipment they use, and to boot me, would also be criminal.
Do we have to sue our ISPs now, to keep service?

Wake up, this is total BS.
Stop trying to police my connection, and what I am doing online.
AND... No one should be targeting me, and my packets, without a warrant. I don't care what company or 3rd party says they saw my IP doing.
I don't give up my rights, just because I am on the internet. Get a warrant, period.

The power company is not going to ban me, because I got busted running a grow house.
Nor should any internet provider, ban someone from their network, for doing anything illegal.

I think you'll find that neither your ISP nor your power company give a rat's sphincter about what YOU consider to be important or necessary.
You need to go back and read your terms of service. Notice, especially, where you agreed not to do anything illegal with your internet service.
And I'd bet that even your power company has the same clause in the terms of service you agreed to.

I suggest you go back and read the terms of service that you agreed to when you signed on with your ISP. They don't need half of what you think they do to kick you off of their network, no matter how much you spend. In the end, it is still their network and they can do what they want. |

The other legal question that should be asked is, is if I generate packets and send them out over a private network from to another private destination, are those packets my personal property and if they are then does a third party have a right to look at or into them? |
