I called the and told them. For about 2 months I have noticed latency problems sporadically. They have sent out (4) 2701-HB modem/routers....I call them interfaces and each time with no success. I told them it was a port or the entire DSLAM, which is a multiplexer...it handles line traffic traffic. This is sort of analogous to mainframe concepts of partitions in IBM DOS and initiators in IBM O/S in which a job could be initiated in one of these initiators with increments of 8,16,32 and 64,ect. This is before MVS or VMS....virtuallity. One could have hundreds of jobs running reading and writing data simultaneously It took AT&T two months for them to listen to me. Finally they did. Yesterday I had no DSL until they apparently fixed it this morning. This morning we'll see.
Thanks for your comments,
