Cajun, the link OZO provided is the only U3 uninstaller I'm aware of. For a while it was very difficult to find, they didn't want to release it to the public or something. It should work on the 1TB drive, but I would backup anything important on it and the cruzer before running it. Maybe back up the cruzer, try it there, and see if everything is left intact (it should).
