they guy above put the sticker on a wax paper backer from a sticker.
i think M$ is trying to make up it's losses from RRoD repairs by selling faulty optic drives. the new lite-on drives are garbage. put in a game and sometimes it will say "to play this disk put it in a 360 console" or it will simply stop reading disks. luckily i bought my 360 at gamestop and it failed within the first month. they gave me a new one and let me keep the old HD.
it's a good idea (especially for lite-on drives) to get your optic drive key # so you can replace it with a used one when it fails. -- "Funny thing, there use to be a time when that was enough." Jim Ignatowski |
