Comcast Business grade connection questions

Hello, I live in Newman lake Washington (About 10 mins from Spokane). and I currently have a residential connection. I have a 50mbps down and 10 up. I pay a little over 100 a month for it. Now the speeds are good but the ping times are quite bad. 25ms to a server less then 10 miles even. To Seattle are about 50 which isn't that good considering im a 3 hour drive from there. I came across a thread about Comcast Business class internet and started to look into it. I found they offer static IP's standard with the service and they seem to route things differently because they are a different branch of Comcast. All I honestly really care about are ping times. They have a business class 12/2 for 95 a month (Not a promotion) and I am very close to trying it just to see how much of a difference there is. I was told by multiple representatives that the ping time would be lower by quite a bit. Of course I didn't know if I could trust them as they are trying to sell their own companies product after all. So, I came to you guys. What's your view on the situation and how much better is the Comcast Business grade ping, speed and quality compared to residential? Thank you everyone in advance.

I would be very surprised if the routing is any different from what it is currently today from your existing location. If you post a couple of trace routes maybe a few members might have a bit of input.

Usual Internet routing spiel first: Physical distance rarely relates to Internet distance. There are only a handful of locations across the entire US that major carriers provide interconnects, so your traffic may need to travel some distance to reach its destination. For instance, here in Minnesota all traffic between ISPs has to route out to Chicago because that's the closest location that the various transit providers engage in peering.

While Seattle does have some transit provider peering, some carriers may not have a point of interconnection any closer than San Jose which could be contributing to your latency.

As was already mentioned, business vs residential is going to have little to no impact on routing.

I'm no networking guru, but I do know that you aren't getting any special treatment with Business Class other than a static IP and customer service.
