They are all given fairly individual timelines. 3HD is something being toyed around with in the lab. Same for wireless STB and place shifting and line bonding. But it won't be unveiled till it's ready for field release. | |

Should AT&T go the cable route of just releasing products that don't work that they never intend to make work? | |

If you follow the news and the forums it's pretty easy to tell what is really coming and what is not. AT&T has a history of taking a long time to roll features out, and of missing self-announced deadlines. But if something is being trialed in the field, it's likely to make it at some point.
I think it's quite likely we'll see 3HD streams and also pair bonding (probably in that order). | |

Also, AT&T supports FTTP today, so it's not a "maybe when they release" it. The only thing they're not doing is laying new fiber in existing neighborhoods. But, in new neighborhoods, they laid fiber to the premise as it was being built, and they do support that mode of operation today. | |
