I have found out that I am one out of 2 units out of 7 (that are closest to my house) that are on the 25/2 profile, Everyone esle is on the 19mbps profile. (Im kinda the local compurter tech for my neighborhood, so I check to see what profile they are on if they are ok with it. I do basic stuff like install printers and routers ect ect for them.) (And yes almost everyone in my neighborhood are on uverse now)
So I have to consider myself incredibly lucky to be on the 25/2 profile in the first place, my max sync is only 32mbps...
I agree with most everyone else, this new speed is avalible to a select few, in a select area, at a select price. Its nice to see att is rolling out new speeds to stay compeditive.
Although this speed/price is not compeditive with comcast, when not a promotional rate
Comcast 22/5 @ $62.95 (30/7 with speed boost)
ATT 23/3 @ $74.99
So for $12.04 you get 1mbps more down sans speeed boost, and 2mbps less upload....
Yeah im being hipocritical here, because I myself will never subsribe to comcast again, unless they seriously change the way they treat their customers.
