Re: What about rural? Nope. Telephone cooperatives rolling out fiber to rural areas are profitable, but they have to amortize their bildout costs over ten or more years to get this profitability. Which is fine, because the infrastructure will definitely last that long. But shareholders don't like that one bit. |
