Re: Official Mediacom Email Discussion Thread Just a quick note for Outlook 2007 users.
I was getting fed up with the Mediacom email issue so I decided to go ahead and setup my Gmail acct. in Outlook. When I finished, I went back to do another check of my profile for Mediacom email in Outlook and tried using the "Repair" option. Interestingly, it actually fixed the connection issues and I can now send email with no errors. (Was able to receive all along.) Bottom line, I don't know why me putting the settings in manually didn't work but having Outlook perform a "repair" did (used the same settings I put in) but it is all working now. |
