If users can live with and have the same expectations for cloud access as webmail, then it should largely be a positive experience. |

It's safe and Super Effective!" Nobody who's invested in its success is being honest and up-front about its limitations and risks, and those of us who are aren't being heard very well. -- [Beeth] Progress (n.): The process through which the Internet has evolved from smart people in front of dumb terminals to dumb people in front of smart terminals. |

 | reply to FBGuy What if fo some reason someones net goes down, what if they cant get internet for that month, due to finances. What if the company goes under, what if the company and the idividual have a billing dispute. They lose that money they paid and lose the files. |

1 edit | they are dumb for relying on one form of backup. its ludicrous to ever only backup to one source and say its "backed up".
i have use dropbox.com and a flash drive to backup all my data. and my entire computer is backed up to an external hard drive. if i had any data that was really worth backing up that I could not get duplicated i would store it at the county recorders office. but thats just me.
cloud computing is for a certain type of person. its not for everyone. if you don't want to do it then don't. simple as that.
