[HELP] BGP with same ASN from two different locations
I have a hopefully simple BGP question: can I use the same ASN to announce two different networks in two different sites (different ISPs as well) ? Something like
- site A, connected through ISP A, announcing a /24 block
- site B, connected through ISP B, announcing a different /24 block

Yes, you can. In fact, this is typical setup in hosting environment when you have assigned or your own Public AS announcing Public (Internet-routable) subnets to the Internet or some external AS.
One thing that you need to confirm is that the neighboring AS (either ISP or some business partner) is aware of what you are trying to do to confirm if they support it or not.
In a case in announcing subnets to the Internet, typically the ISP has no problem receiving subnets from the same AS that is dispersed geographically assuming the ISP is the one who assign your AS. If the neighboring ISP is not the one that assign your AS, then the ISP might not support such setup.
