Re: Apple & poorly designed iPhone radio hardware to blame Back when the iPhone 3G was released (mid 2008) there was a ton of reports that, in fact, there was something wrong with either the hardware or firmware of the phone, that was causing connectivity and speed issues.
A quick google search finds a bunch of these. for example
Neither Apple nor AT&T ever owned up to anything.
I don't know the truth, but this is a data point that somewhat supports the Nielsen exec's contention. I wouldn't dismiss it out of hand like most here are doing. |
