Well, according to T-Mobile's coverage map vs AT&T's coverage map its the same story all around CA, including Santa Rosa.

As you can see AT&T's coverage goes all the way up to Healdsburg, where as T-Mo's 3G coverage stops at about Fulton when going North. Going to the ocean via hwy 1 AT&T has 3G coverage there as well, where T-Mo has Edge only. If your happy w/ T-Mo, then I applaud you because I wouldn't be happy with them. Out of the big 4 cell providers they have the smallest 3G network, not like AT&T is that much better though, they have the 3rd smallest 3G network.
