Re: Comcast and Verizon Right you are. Personally, I now choose to use the Verizon Direct forum here rather than *trying* to talk to the lower level support of Verizon. I can't even understand some of them and it's worse the other way around(them understanding me). Nevermind them being stubborn idiots who always insist your equipment is the problem. I almost dropped Verizon because of them and have not considered going back to having any other Verizon service than the dry loop dsl I currently have. So, yes Verizon, having script monkeys in your call center has cost you plenty of potential revenue from me and probably countless others. I know Vz has good landline service here, but I will not deal with Verizon of India support any more than I have to and like sending companies the message that this is not ok. Was cheaping out on the call reps you supply really worth it, Verizon? TWC around here gives you support right from the local office without any Arab gatekeepers. Guess who has most of my business, including my primary internet connection. Certainly not Verizon. If TWC ever goes back to doing that, Richmond Networx(local company) will likely get my business, even though they cost more. -- deltree /y C:\*.* |
