Reference your post earlier regarding SMC7004WFW firmware, i am facing the same problem with the new firmware i.e. 2.17 where my wireless connections keep dropping.
Would request you to kindly again re-load the 2.16 firmware for the same as the older link is expired or alternatively you can mail me the same at newhavendel@hotmail.com
