Re: Public safety concern?

Why should/would cell phone data be able to disrupt 911 cell phone service? Or will this expose that they've so oversubscribed their cell phone towers that this is a problem?
Operation Chokehold, even if it does happen at 3PM EST/noon PST as someone suggested, won't interrupt phone service (911 or otherwise).

I personally think this will have something in common with those episodes in history where everyone flushes their toilet at the same time (like Superbowl half-time). I also don't think it will last an hour, as nobody has that attention span. It may last 5-10 minutes.

Still, the best way to register your discontent is to figure out how to move your iPhone to T-Mobile (rumor has it this works fine), and then do it. (Or flush your toilet at half-time.)

After the end of the final episode of MASH, the water usage in New York City surged 300,000 gallons.
