OK, NE states only.
I'm happy in Maine because it's Vacationland.
Vermont a bit less, family used to have a vacation place there and I miss it, some angst.
New Hampster less than I used to, I won't get into it.
Mass, I live here and I have a list of complaints.
Rho Dy'lan, I have issues, but it's not as bad as I say.
CT, I'm kinda neutral. I think they feel left out. Not quite NYC, not quite NE. Anyway, they have there own DSLR page/site/forum.

I lived in CT for many years, and it's not good. It was all right until 9/11, but then it basically just crumpled up and died (at least in the western half). The economy tanked in a matter of days. Temp agencies had hundreds of listings get pulled, jobs everywhere simply vanished. It was amazing.

Unhappy Witch = skip that state!
Best burrito evah was near Mark Twain house. (I dig Twain)
Some really bad marinas. Dead fish. Expensive. Impolite.
