| Natural extension of the SYNC system but... I just wonder what this will mean for any "extra value" services that other electronics makers are also pushing for in car use?
IE: MSN Direct for the Garmin GPS systems is now as good as dead because a seperate pay service can't compete with services provided "free" with a mobile phone & data plan 
Also will this functionally actually work outside of the US?
Many of SYNC's more interesting features currently are limited to the US (Vehicle Diagnostic Report, SYNC turn by turn navigation) means those of us outside the USA who bought into the SYNC promise are left holding an empty sack
