Re: Ford needs to re-FOCUS on the primary function of the car Well much of all of these threads has turning into a "my car is better than your car" battle. Cars are ultimately a personal taste. Ford doesn't make any car which appeals to me. They can dump as much techno-stuffing into it as they like; I think the cars are hideous. That's just my opinion.
As for strange noises and bad braking, well the sound of Ford's power steering is somewhat legendary heh. And if you're used to GMs "I sneezed on the brake-pedal and the brakes threw me through the front windshield" then yes, Ford's mushier brakes will seem odd.
All of that said, I agree with your post. How about focusing on quieter, more fuel efficient, more reliable cars instead of craming a ton of useless junk in these things.
