| Headset Do what I do and get a headset (Bluetooth or hardwire) and be done with the worrying. I don't have a headset because I'm worried about the signal its putting out, I have one for convenience so I don't have to hold my phone . You could take it a step further and get a phone mount in your car that has an amplifier antenna built in (like Wilson electronics does) which will then absorb the cell phone's signal and redirect it to an antenna on the top of the vehicle, away from you and give you better coverage.
The other side is, when the phone is not in a call it puts out very little power, most of the time none, and has very quick (under a few seconds), its just when the phone is in use that you need to worry (if you worry at all).

1 edit | I'm not worried about the phone's radiation, so what makes you think that I'm worried about a 2.5mW device?
Edit - At the 3 Watt output of the amplifier w/ a 6dBi antenna I am a little cautious about how long I am within 16" of it during a call or data use, but the phone and bluetooth I wouldn't worry about.
