Re: Ford?

Funny you mention that my '05 avalanche has been a solid vehicle. I just hit 100,000 miles on it and so far most I have done is put new tires on it. It runs solid.

The 2003 suburban we have right now is a solid vehicle as well. so far the only major problem we had with it was the cluster panel which the dealer fixed before he could sell it.

Short of that everything works on it.

I am losing the craze of wanting to buy new vehicles anymore. Tired of the loan payments and frankly if I can't say "It's mine" and mean it, then I would be no better than leasing a vehicle.

Next time I get the "new car craze" I am going to see what the advantages at the time of leasing vs. buying.

LOL there Avalanche's are newer so that maybe the problem. My Dad has had GM's for years and only had two that had trouble. A 76 Trans-Am and a 95? Olds Aurora. Both new at there time. I only had one Ford I had trouble with. It was a 2000 Focus SE. I lemon lawed it. LOL I drove the loaner Focus more then my own.
I have a 08 Fusion SEL now. It replaced my 07 Fusion SE that got beat to hail in March of 08. I really like the SYNC that it has. My poor 1984 Capri never gets drove now.
