 | I was one of the few layedoff from Comcast I don't understand it because the few hundred people they layedoff will not save the company 9 billion dollars or so. This will affect customer service which they have been trying to boost. They did not give the most latest group of people notice. We were told the day of and that was it. no time to look for another position within the company, because I think they would not want that to happen if their purpose in doing this was to stack up some cash. If I had known I could have looked for a job elsewhere. I wish I read these blogs because I had no idea. I was too busy working, going home, waking up and going back to work. I know Comcast does not have a good image but there are a lot of us that were making a difference to the customers that crossed our path. I did enjoy working there and hope one day that it would be like it was when I first started working there. I think there are more layoffs to come. |
