Re: Ford? I agree diesel gets a lot of bad rap, hell for the longest in this country's history we had diesel for submarines and ships (thinking WWII here).
Then again we were not as conscientious on the enviroment as we are now. However to that argument we have bio-diesel.
Truthfully at 60mpg you could reduce pollution, least I would think you would.
it's a interesting argument though.
