Why do you think GPU manufacturers, console makers, hardware vendors, etc. all try to shrink their hardware as time goes on? Because in the future, everything takes up less space.
In the present, those things are as small as can be, but in a phone, they're even smaller, if that makes sense, so it costs more to get something smaller than a standard size.
