Couple of misconceptions.

The DSL Modem/Router you have has NAT/NAPT which drops all unsolicited incoming packets at the WAN. It does this with the Firewall disabled even, but all that changes when you open ports to run any servers.

The PC that you use for a Web Server will need a Firewall on it as you have to open a port to allow it to serve pages to all unsolicited incoming requests so it becomes vulnerable from that. The server will need a ADS (Attack Detection System) also.
