Not really, but the So Cal TV news would make you think that was the case. Stucco facing allows the building to move in a quake but not peel off the entire wall face and bury someone walking nearby like brick and stone masonry would.

I grew up there and eventually want to move back...so please keep stories like this going. That way one day I can afford to move back.
