The very liberal city of San Francisco is different from the more moderate San Jose just south of San Francisco, which in turn is very different from the solidly conservative Republicans in the Central Valley or Orange County in southern California. |

| No, really, I did not intend to disparage anybody, including the good folks of San Francisco...it was just this mental imagery of people living behind walls of chicken-wire...couldn't let that one go!
